Founded by Ryll Burgin, stepUp was created to educate and excite teenagers to the possibility of life and business, letting them know that no matter what their teachers or parents say, it's ultimately them who decide their life. stepUp place particular emphasis on teens who are underprivileged or at risk, with 40% of participants from this area.

They achieve this through their flagship 2 day event, which is held nationally and internationally. Each event features speakers from all walks of live including entrepreneurs, top athletics, musicians and other teens who have turned their life around. The teens are then facilitated through a series of activities by their coaches.

To be eligible to coach at stepUp you must be a business executive, manager, small business owners or anyone who has excelled in their field. Coaches are trying to make a difference to their community and are continually learning new skills.

Not only are the funds provided by coaches instrumental to the success of stepUp, all coaches are provided with a world class education which can be used in business and life. stepUp’s intention is to add value to everyone who is in contact with the foundation, from teens, parents, schools and coaches. The coaches are provided with a full day training normally valued at over $495 included in their initial investment. They also have the opportunity to listen to all the speakers, who appearance fees can vary from $5000 to $25,000. Through the stepUp coaching program, coaches have access to many amazing people for inspiration and education.
